HIPAA Policy
Rondaxe is dedicated to providing its clients with proven technology to effectively manage their patients and improve health outcomes. We recognize our status as a Business Associate under the definitions contained in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”), as amended by the HITECH Act of 2009 (ARRA Title XIII). We also recognize our responsibility to protect individually identifiable health information under the regulations implementing HIPAA, other federal and state laws protecting the confidentiality of personal information, and under general, professional ethics. It is our policy to remain in full compliance with all the requirements of HIPAA as such requirements relate to our products and services and our role as a Business Associate.
Of course, our clients as Covered Entities must also comply with HIPAA, and other federal and state laws in their use of Rondaxe’s products and services. Rondaxe offers its products and services to its clients with the understanding that a client has complied and remains in compliance with the requirements of HIPAA and other federal and state laws as such requirements relate to the client’s use of Rondaxe’s products and services.
